These are just my little favourites that I’ve discovered in the last year or two. Now they are staples in my workshop and I wouldn’t go back! They make perfect gifts for the sewist in your life all year long but they are absolutely excellent stocking stuffers

  1. Extra Long Magic Grip Pins–that grip really is worth the hype! And they can survive under an iron
  2. Silk Magic Grip Pins–so sharp! They are perfect for delicate fabrics but don’t step on these because they will draw blood.
  3. Clover Desktop Needle Threader–A wonderful little gadget for threading all of those hand sewing needles.
  4. Chaco Marker Pen–my favourite chalk marker! Such a crisp line and easy to use on most fabric
  5. Thread Stand–a very inexpensive but helpful tool for those large cones and specialty threads
  6. LED Light Strip–having a well-lit work area makes all the difference for the precision of my stitching and really helps with eye strain during long periods of sewing
  7. Hot Hem Ruler–this has revolutionised my time pressing up hems
  8. Ball Point Bodkin–one of my top tier little tools. I use it for a million things! Join me for any Teatorial Tuesday to see it in action
  9. Button Buster–I use this as a hump jumper primarily but it is also handy for sewing buttonholes in tricky, thick locations.
  10. Tube Turner–I thought this might be a ridiculous one trick pony but it makes turning fabric tubes so much easier that it’s the best one trick ever.
