I am thrilled to share more details about our mini Steampunk CommuniTea Weekend this Saturday, June 15th . Like a delicious cream tea, this is a little refreshment to tide you over until the next outing of the Steampunk CommuniTea Weekend in 2025–dates to be announced.
The Airship Ambassador and I are hosting a small gathering of Steampunk luminaries for what, I hope, is the first of several round table discussions. We shall be discussing the past of our marvelous Steampunk movement and our hopes for Steampunk going forward. Joining us for this lively conversation are Phil and Kaja Foglio, the incredible creators behind Girl Genius, Erika Mulkey, best known as the thoroughly brilliant Unwoman, Lisa Hager, professor and all around academic luminary, and Tracy Chan, the brilliant organizer behind Steampunk Hawaii.
The Round Table will start at 10 AM Pacific (Seattle/Tucson). There will be time for questions for our panelists, and this event will be recorded and posted later for those who are unable to attend live. The zoom link will be posted here and on our Facebook event page the morning of the event. Patreon subscribers have early access.
