It is my grave honour to introduce Morgan Le Feline. This glorious magical kitty arrived from the mysterious lands of the underhill in the highlands of Scotland. Nothing is known of her earliest days, but clearly she spent her time wisely and well amongst the Fae. Once she was beyond the confines of the Faelands, Morgan had only her own wits and talents upon which to depend. A feline enchantress of great skill, Morgan soon made friends with the local Scottish Wildcats and found her home for a time amongst them.
She was an independent creature, eschewing human company until she made the acquaintance–and later friendship–of the scandalous widow, Maria Murray, who had made her home in a fine cottage near one of the more remote lochs. Maria was herself rumoured to dabble in the alchemical and mystical arts.
Madame Murray’s true passion was for a liberated Scotland and she shared this passion with her feline companion. Although Morgan was not much concerned with the affairs of man, she had a tendre for those she viewed as facing injustice at the hands of those who would not respect the Old Ways. After a foiled attempt to restore the Stuart line to the throne, the two fled together to adventures in New Orleans.
Together in exile from the land of their birth, they spent their golden years telling fortunes for locals and tourists alike in the Place d’Armes. The Widow Murray kept a small home in the Vieux Carré where she and Morgan hosted a weekly literary– mostly literary!– salon until Morgan went to her final nap by the cozy fire.
Morgan has gone on to her forever haunt where she is still want to spin a little magic into reality and even to lure the spectral pipes of Scotsman past into existence. She will claim any piece of tartan that strikes her fancy but for all of her Fae ways, she is loyal to her new family, protecting them from plots, mayhem, and unruly pixies.
A fine hallooo huray for dear Morgan Le Feline!
