I’ve mentioned our Steampunk CommuniTea Discord often over the last few years, and it has been a wonderful space for everyone who has made the leap to join us there. If you recall the heyday of groups on Facebook and the lively conversations and connections there, our Discord CommuniTea captures that experience but without the advertisements or the algorithm deciding what you will see.

As the culture and moderation policies on all Meta platforms continues to change, we are focusing more on our lovely Discord CommuniTea and so I’ve started hosting a weekly Craft and Chat on Saturday afternoons. These are very casual social gatherings during which you are most welcome to work on projects or not, bustle about tidying your space, brainstorm future projects, type away on a work in progress, or even bring sewing and crafting questions. We start at 2 PM Pacific (Seattle)/5 PM Eastern (Atlanta), and I host the event in my Madame’s Tea Lounge on Discord. Anyone who is a member of our CommuniTea is welcome to join us.
