Someday, I shall run out of exclamation points, but fortunately today is not that day because I am thrilled to announce this week’s special guest for our Friday Virtual Tea Party– Linda Addison! Not only is Ms Addison an award winning poet and author, but she also has a penchant for wit and repartee that makes her a gift to any gathering. I have had the pleasure of getting to know Ms Addison through our small local fandom convention, TusCon, and there I have had the delight to witness her tear up the stage with her brilliance.

Ms Addison has a list of publications from poetry to short fiction longer than the Grand Arbiter’s favourite cape. Her skill and insight with language is astonishing to experience. Her poetry is thoughtful, beautiful and sometimes harrowing, and like the very best poetry, her works inspires reevaluation of assumptions and plumbing personal depths. She is a revelation on the page.

An hour is not remotely enough time to enjoy Ms Addison’s company, but I am delighted beyond words that we are able to welcome her for a guest even for an hour.
