April Virtual Book Club

Sunday, April 27th, at 4:30 PM Pacific (Seattle/Tucson)–7:30 PM Eastern (Montreal)

I am percolating with pleasure at the thought of our book discussion this month. “The Strange Case of the Alchemist’s Daughter” by Theodora Goss is such a juicy, delicious read, and I know that we are going to have a wonderful chat about it. From the literary Easter Eggs to the vivid cast of characters, we have so much to explore. Remember to also bring your own questions for the group.

I host book club in our lovely virtual tea parlour on zoom which you can join simply by following the link below.

If you are unable to attend live on zoom or prefer to follow along elsewhere, I stream our monthly book club directly to our YouTube channel where you may watch in real time or at your leisure.

This month we celebrate 5 years of delightful virtual Steampunk book club, the Temporal Textual Talks. I am so delighted to organize this every year with our champion of Steampunk fiction, Bill Bodden, and I am honoured to host each month. I believe we have a wonderful book with which to celebrate and start off another year of charming steampunk reads!

Book club, like all of our virtual events, would not be possible without the stalwart support of our marvelous Patreon CommuniTea. They not only keep the lights on, the sewing machines chugging, and the shop cats fed, but they also keep me in books and tea. If you would like to join the CommuniTea and be part of the magic fuelling our time traveling teapots, please considering subscribing to our Patreon.

I am proud to be a bookshop.org affiliate because 10% of all sales go to support independent book stores across the United States. Any books purchased through my links also provide a small commission to me.
