Madame Askew and The Grand Arbiter

We have a lighter week ahead, my darlings. Today, I am hosting our weekly Stitch and Twitch at 5PM Pacific live on YouTube, Twitch, and Facebook. I may be mucking about with the petticoat some more or I may start prepping one of the other undergarments that I need to make. It’s a suprise! (By which I mean, I need to see how the sewing muses move me this evening.)

I mentioned, very offhandedly, in our monthly calendar that Madame Gail Carriger is joining us for Friday tea this week, but I need to sing that to the stars because our Friday with Gail is nearly here! We adore Madame Gail and any chance to sit down for a little conversation with her is always a treasured experience. (And yes, we shall have some fun Patrons’ Corner topics for this week.)

This week, Crafternoon is canceled in deference to Madame Gail’s monthly live stream which happens at the same time on Saturday afternoon. However! I am hosting the Patreon subscriber exclusive Underpinnings Autumn Sewing Social at 11AM on Sunday the 12th. Get ready for rufflegeddon! I have so many ruffles to attach to the petticoat and we are going to discuss several ways of tackling and attaching ruffles.
