Weekly Tea and Tomfoolery

In honour of spooky season this year, the Grand Arbiter and I unleashed our first ever Guestober. We’ve had such a marvelous time with all of our guests this month and I am thrilled that this week’s special guest is none other than our dearest Eve Riot!

On Tuesday, I continue weekly sewing AMA and chat at 5PM Pacific (Seattle/Tucson) on YouTube, Twitch, and Facebook. This is a rather casual sewing evening, full of friendly chatter, but I really will answer any sewing questions and I happily discuss what I am currently working on. Last week’s poll means that I shall likely start preparing for the lobster tail bustle–pressing fabric, making some fabric decisions, and maybe cutting the basic shapes.

Friday Teatime with Eve always inspires us to be extra cheeky and extra unhinged. We are planning a special spooky season game. Get ready to make suggestions, egg us on, and unleash your own debate in the chat at 6:30 PM Pacific also on YouTube, Twitch, and Facebook. This Saturday, I’ll be off to the zoo with the Tucson Steampunk Society to share some Halloween cheer and spread a little Steampunk magic so I won’t be available to host our Saturday Crafternoon on Discord. If you are already on Discord, however, you never need to stand on ceremony. You are always welcome to gather in the voice chat for a craft and chat.

This is our week for more Underpinnings Autumn sewing nonsense at our Patreon exclusive sewing social on zoom. We are definitely finishing up the petticoat–that waistband is happening!–and we’ll discuss the early stages of creating a lobster tail bustle. Bring questions about bustles. I’ll be focused on assembling materials, adjusting for fit, and finalizing my design. And yes, I will have the last video edited and posted for you this week. Our Sunday Sewing Social starts at 11AM Pacific. Interested in joining our Patreon exclusive events? All subscriber tiers have immediate access to this event and the previous video recordings.
