Madame Askew and The Grand Arbiter

November certainly embraced chaos. Egads! What a wild month! We expect a few disruptions in any month during which we are attending a convention, but a missing garment and national holiday certainly increased that exponentially. 

Whilst the winter season  is always full of the rich flavours of Masala Chai for me, December brings with it that lovely, heady hint of peppermint and that brisk chill to propel us into cosy workshops and gatherings with friends. (If you enjoy a little peppermint with your winter festivities, please allow me to recommend Smith’s Chocolate Peppermint Pu’erh which you can only procure at this time of year.)

Indeed, I shall be mostly occupying myself within the bounds of the Workshop of Dooooom when I am not flitting to Cascadia or entertaining the shop cats. I have ruffles and chevrons and hems galore waiting for me in December. All of that stitching means a continuation of our Sewing Social on Patreon and the Tuesday Twitch and Stitch sessions  on all of our regular platforms. (The Sewing Social date will be announced after the poll ends so please be certain to vote. )

Beyond that, expect something ridiculous from us on New Year’s Eve and watch for announcements about the Golden Tippy Awards. Our schedule may have a few interruptions in deference to the holiday season, but I hope to see you far more regularly than in November.

And so, my darlings, please allow me to unleash our December Calendar of events.  In the midst of all the cheeky holiday chaos, I hope to share sewing insights, a gift guide or three, and some bookish recommendations.  As always but most particularly at this time of year, thank you for not only embracing our cheeky, joyful adventures, but most importantly, jumping in wholeheartedly yourselves!
