Saturday, January 24th, at 10 AM Pacific (Seattle)
I am thrilled to welcome back C.L. Polk as my very special guest tomorrow morning. I’ve invited Polk to come Sip the Tea with me and discuss their life as an artist, their process as an author, and the ways in which the navigate sustaining a creative life.
We’ve enjoyed several of Polk’s excellent novels for our Temporal Textual Talks monthly book chat over the years. I highly recommend their entire bibliography, to be frank. Polk has a gift for melding the historical with the fantastical in a way that not only enriches their stories but creates worlds that feel visceral and poignant. I admire Polk’s writing tremendously and have finished more than one of their books with a tremendous book hangover.
Sip the Tea starts at 10 AM Pacific (Seattle)–11 AM Mountain (Tucson)–Noon Central (Madison)–1 PM Eastern (Montreal) and streams live on YouTube, Twitch, and Facebook. If you have not yet done so, please consider subscribing to our YouTube and following our Twitch for notifications.
These interviews are made possible by the stalwart support of our wonderful Patreon CommuniTea! Patreon members get early access to events, behind the scenes insights, as well as monthly sewing adventures. None of our regular tea and tomfoolery would be possible without our Patreon CommuniTea.
