February Book Chat

Sunday, February 15th, at 4:30 PM Pacific (Seattle) — 7:30 PM Eastern (Montreal)

Join Bill Bodden and me for a lively book chat in February, featuring our book pick, Rust in the Root by Justina Ireland. We have enjoyed several books from Ms. Ireland in the past, and I am delighted to return to her work once more. From the incredible characters to the engrossing plot, Ireland will enchant readers with this historical fantasy. With a striking analogue to the Great Depression and the author’s signature cultural insights, this is certain to be an excellent steampunk adjacent read!

Ms. Ireland is unable to join us; however, expect many opportunities to discuss the writing, characters, and overall story. Bring your questions to share with our convivial Communitea of readers!

Our book chat is the 3rd Sunday of the month, February 15th at 4:30 PM Pacific (Seattle)–5:30 PM Mountain (Tucson) — 6:30 PM Central (Madison)–7:30 PM Eastern (Montreal). This is my happy little reminder that you never need to finish the book to join us for our monthly chat, but there may be spoilers. For the best experience, please join us in our virtual tea parlour on zoom or follow along on our YouTube channel.

Excited for a new year of Steampunk, Gaslight, and Historical Fantasy reads? Be certain to save our reading list for the coming year.
