We have such fun planned for Halloween day! As with all of our Covidween events, these virtual parties are all free to attend.
Teen Spotlight and Costume Showcase
Are you a 13 to 17 year-old Halloween lover who wants to share your costume with the world? Submit your information and your image may be included on the Madame Askew and Grand Arbiter Facebook page for all to see. Follow the guidelines below to ensure you are eligible.
Submission Guidelines
1) You are 13 to 17 years old.
2) You provide a single (1) PG-13 picture of yourself in your costume.
3) A short description of your costume. Please indicate if you made it yourself, purchased the costume or, if someone made it for you and if so who.
4) The name and pronouns you wish us to use when we share your photo.
Submit by October 29th at 6:00 PM Pacific Time to MadameAskew@gmail.com with the Subject Line “COVIDWEEN TEENAGE SPOTLIGHT 2020”
Grand Ball and Costume Contest
Join our delightful guest judges, the Grand Arbiter, and me in a celebration of autumnal spookiness. Wear your finest fancy dress (costumes) and compete for fabulous prizes. This is an 18+ event. You must register in advance to attend this virtual zoom party. You are not required to participate in the costume contest in order to attend the party. Join us in cheering on those bold costumers who bring their fiercest lewks for our Halloween joy!
If you would like to enter the costume contest, you may either enter the live contest during the Saturday ball or submit a photo in advance. (Please don’t do both.)
The Rules
1) You must be 18+ to attend or compete.
2) You must be friendly and courteous to other competitors and guests.
3) You may only select one (1) Category to compete in.
4) Don’t Vex the Judges
The Categories
1) Closet Cosplay
Halloween might have snuck up on but you have exactly the tools you need to put together a fabulous costume already in your closet.
2) AHHHH TOO SPOOKY!
Guts, Terror, and Screaming Galore, you bring to the chopping block your best horror looks.
3) Glimmer and Glamor
Horror might not be your thing, but you can put together a stunning costume that might not shock but will awe!
Photo Submission Guidelines
1) A single photo (PG 13) of you in your costume (Does not need to be a professional photo)
2) Indicate Which Category you are competing in (Select only 1)
