I am thrilled beyond measure that I shall be sitting down for a little tea and conversation with the thoroughly irrepressible Caroline Stevermer. I have loved her work since I first read her short stories in the marvelous fantasy fiction anthologies from Terri Windling and Ellen Datlow. My adoration for her work was forever emblazoned on my heart, however, when I read Sorcery and Cecelia which she co-wrote with Patricia Wrede. Stevermer brings not only wit to her characters but the kind of humanity that makes them feel like dearest friends. If you have not yet had a chance to read her work, I highly encourage you to do so!
