November Book Chat

Sunday, November 15th, at 4:30 PM Pacific (Seattle) — 5:30 PM Mountain (Tucson) — 7:30 PM Eastern (Montreal)

What a delightful time we had with our October book chat featuring the excellent, creepy novel Deadlands: Boneyard by Seanan McGuire. For November, we continue with a little seasonal spookiness with Boston Metaphysical Society: Vol. 1 by Madeleine Holly-Rosing and Emily Hu. One of the great, classic steampunk graphic novels, Boston Metaphysical Society delves into the the underworld of a Steampunk Boston, navigating supernatural dangers and the perils of a dastardly ruling class.

Madeleine Holly-Rosing, the mastermind and author behind the comics, will be joining us for our chat so do be certain to bring plenty of questions to ask Madeleine about the comic and her process as an author.

Our monthly book chat is the 3rd Sunday of the month, November 15th, at 4:30 PM Pacific (Seattle) — 5:30 PM Mountain (Arizona) — 6:30 PM Central (Madison) — 7:30 PM Eastern (Montreal/Atlanta). Please note, that the time change happens on November 1st, so Arizona is experiencing a little time blip whilst everyone else goes back in time one hour. For the next few months, Arizona leaves behind our chums on the West Coast, to travel along with our comrades in the other mountain states.

As always, I’ll host our conversation in our virtual tea parlour on zoom, but you can also follow along or watch later on our YouTube channel. This is my happy little reminder that you never need to finish the book to join us for our monthly chat, but there may be spoilers.

Happy reading!
~Madame
