My darling friends!
Welcome to COVIDween week 2! We have some more virtual panels this week as well as a new set of Covidween Challenges. There is more to come, but for now let’s discuss the virtual panels. A happy reminder that all of our panels are free to attend, but in some cases, we will have links for you to support the artists presenting the panels.
Cheers!

Teatorial with Madame Askew
20th October at 6pm Pacific
Tuesday night we’ll sit down for a little sewing and scads of silliness and tea. I shall work through the steps for creating a charming Pumpkin Pincushion. For this teatorial, do plan to have some supplies and tools on hand:
- Two 6 inch squares of coordinating tightly woven cotton fabric or wool felt (Craft felt will do but will not have the same effect as wool felt)
- Polyfill, organic cotton stuffing, wool roving, or other stuffing for pin cushions like walnut shells
- A 1/4 to 1/2 inch button for the top of your pumpkin
- Large hand sewing needle and coordinating embroidery floss
- Sewing machine, bobbins, sewing shears, thread, pins
We will be sewing this up by machine; however, you can make this project entirely by hand, and we will discuss those techniques.

Goth Fashion for Every Occasion
22nd October at 6pm Pacific
Thursday night, I shall join my dear friends the sublime Ember Brenna Sparks, costumer extraordinaire, and the exquisite Eve Riot, ineffable performer, muse and artist of the mysterious. We shall chat about Goth fashion for the every day and the special occasion, particularly for the spooky season. This is a perfect occasion to learn more about how to infuse not only your costuming projects with more spooky or goth aesthetic but to get some tips for creating a seasonal look from the things you have hiding in your closets and drawers.
Bring your own tea, cocktails, mocktails, or absinthe and your questions!

A Supernatural Halloween
24th October 6pm Pacific
I join my dear friend Tanya Gouchenour from the Rhoynish Turtle Conservation Society to discuss the world of Supernatural, the Winchester Brothers, and their relationship to folklore. From mythic monsters to urban myths, over the course of 15 seasons, Supernatural has developed a special relationship with these legendary monsters. Tanya and I will reminisce over several particular episodes, the developing connection with folklore over the span of the show, and the special alchemy of urban fantasy that threads through Supernatural.
Tea, cocktails, or mocktails highly encouraged!
As always, do register for this zoom panel through ticketleap
